Frequently asked

Do I need an account to use ZingDo?

No. ZingDo works with no sign-up at all. Your plans live on your device, so there's nothing to log into and nothing to remember.

Where is my data stored?

On your device — and, by default, synced through your own private iCloud so your tasks are available on all your devices. That sync uses your Apple ID, not a ZingDo account, and we can't see it. You can turn iCloud Sync off in Settings to keep everything on one device. The planning AI runs on-device by default; if you use cloud planning, your text is sent to our server only to build the plan and no copy is kept.

What's the difference between on-device and cloud AI?

On-device AI does all the planning right on your phone, so nothing leaves it — this is the default on Apple Intelligence–capable iPhones. Cloud planning is an option you can turn on (and the path used on older devices); it sends only the text you're planning, keeps no copy, and never trains on your data. You can switch between them in Settings any time.

How does the free trial work?

Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial with full access to every feature. It's an auto-renewable App Store subscription: unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically continues as a paid plan ($4.99/month or $19.99/6 months). You can cancel any time before then in your App Store settings and you won't be charged.

What does ZingDo cost after the trial?

$4.99 per month or $19.99 every 6 months. Both unlock the entire app — there's no feature locked behind a higher tier. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App Store before you confirm.

Which iPhones support Apple Intelligence?

ZingDo's on-device AI needs Apple Intelligence, which runs on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and every iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 model. (Apple Intelligence also runs on M-series iPad and Mac.) For Apple's always-current list, see apple.com/apple-intelligence. On older iPhones the planning features still work through cloud planning — with no copy of your text kept — and the rest of the app, Tasks and Focus, works on any supported iPhone.

How can I check whether my iPhone has Apple Intelligence?

Open the Settings app and look for Apple Intelligence & Siri. If you see an Apple Intelligence section there, your iPhone supports it; if there's no Apple Intelligence option at all, your device isn't capable — and ZingDo will simply use cloud planning instead. Make sure you're on the latest iOS too (Settings → General → Software Update), since Apple Intelligence needs a recent version.

How do I turn on Apple Intelligence?

First, update to the latest iOS in Settings → General → Software Update. Then open Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and turn on Apple Intelligence. It downloads in the background, so keep your iPhone on Wi-Fi and charging — it can take a little while to finish. You'll also need to be signed into your Apple Account, with your device language and Siri language set to a supported language such as English. Once it's ready, ZingDo picks it up automatically.

I turned on Apple Intelligence, but ZingDo says it's off — what's wrong?

A few things can make iOS report Apple Intelligence as unavailable even when the switch looks on. The most common is a language mismatch — your Siri language (Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri) and device language (Settings → General → Language & Region) both need to be a supported language such as English. Also check that it isn't blocked under Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions, that it isn't still downloading ("Preparing…"), and that you're signed into your Apple Account. After changing any of these, give it a few minutes — or restart your iPhone — for the system to re-check. For the full requirements, see apple.com/apple-intelligence.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings and tap delete to wipe everything in one step. Uninstalling the app also removes all local ZingDo data.
